A lemony-yellow color with hints of green. The bouquet is a complex, honeyed character with rich aromas of dried fruit. It is delicious, with apricot and raisin character supported by fresh acidity.
Brilliant straw yellow colour with a green tint. Very fine, fruity (apples, peaches), forward varietal aroma. Pronounced, clean, elegant, grapey flavour, light to medium-bodied with a fresh mouth-watering finish.
TORRE MASTIO AMARONE CLASSICO '06
The nose is rich and full of spice and hints at the power that lies within. This is a super concentrated, powerful, spicy, intensely aromatic wine, with exceptional intensity and a dry yet muscular, rich finish. It should last for ten or more years.
Valpolicella Ripasso is a form of Valpolicella Superiore made with partially dried grape skins that have been left over from fermentation of Amarone or recioto. A deep ruby color, intense scent and full warm body that is excellent with roasts and cheese.
The Dominus 2009 exemplifies the finest qualities of Cabernet Sauvignon from an ideal vintage. The nose, at once powerful yet restrained, is dense and filled with pure dark berry fruit and hints of sandalwood. On the palate is a harmonious blend of fresh plum and focused minerality with tannins that are firm, round and elegant. Spherical in quality, this wine is complete from start to finish. A sublime vintage.
VILLA CACCIONE BAROLO '06
Searing acidity has been a trait of Barbera though modern viticultural techniques and warmer regions have tamed the acidity, resulting in medium-bodied wines with bright, red fruit tones that feature hints of violets, earth and plum with just a whisper of tannin.
Dolcetto is one of the most common grapes from Italy's Piedmont region. Its name refers to the sweetness of the grape, and while the wine can be fruity it is not sweet - in fact it often has a touch of bitterness on the finish.
VILLA CACCIONE NEBBIOLO D'ALBA '07
Though generally only medium-bodied, the wines possess rose and anise scented aromatics and deep flavors of cherry, orange peel and subtle green herb tones.
Red Handed Merlot is a fruit-forward wine with aromas and flavors of ripe red berries and cassis. This bright fruit character is layered with notes of toasted almonds and black olives. Lingering fruit flavors are complemented by soft tannins and nice structure on the finish.
Red Handed Cabernet has aromas of blackcurrant, dark plum, wild berry and dried herbs are found on the nose of our Eye Candy Cabernet Sauvignon. This range from fruity to savory characters extends to the palate, which is filled with flavors of crushed berry, cassis, and plum. A lovely soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish complete this well-balanced and full-bodied wine.
RED HANDED RED TABLE WINE
The nose is intriguing:plum and cassis play with nuances of cedar and spice. Then, a mouthful of rich berry and dark fruit flavors, followed by a lovely and lingering fruitful finish. Notable but well-balanced tannic structure and a pleasing acidity will dance well with a wide range of flavorful meats and savory dishes.
Bonaventure Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in a mix of French and American oak barrels. On the nose there are notes of cassis, plum, and crushed berries (raspberry and blackberry). Also a slight hint of vanilla/oak spice. The palate offers rich red fruits of potent plum, blackberries and spice that carry from entry through mid-palate. Dusty tannins and lingering cassis flavors on the finish.
Tamada Kindzmarauli is a dark red, naturally semi-sweet wine combining the best of traditional Georgian and modern Western European wine-making techniques. It is made from the indigenous grape varietal Saperavi in the Kvareli district of the Kakheti region of Georgia and exported by GWS. During production, the wine's sugar content is maintained naturally, without additives or chemicals, resulting in a finished wine with a sugar content of 3% to 5%.
The Tamada Khvanchkara is blend of Alexandreuli and Mujuretuli grapes from the Khvanchkara vineyards, near the town of Ambrolauri in Racha region of western Georgia.
Bright copper hue. Smoky sweet citrus nose. A sharp entry leads a zesty, medium-bodied palate with piercing acidity and modest sweetness.
