Black cherry fruit punctuates the intial impression of our Anderson Valley Estate Pinot Noir. This Brutocao Pinot Noir is full and rich with varietal velvet, fresh earth and brooding integrated smoky oak, it remains lively and charged with a youthful buoyancy that portends extended palate pleasing performance.
It pours a deep gold-orange and although the head is initially substantial, it doesn’t take long for it to collapse and virtually disappear. It does, however leave some lacing. Brooklyn Oktoberfest gives off a yeasty, roasted caramel bouquet, with a hint of butterscotch. It is medium-bodied and sweet, and really thickens the saliva.
"Simple and pleasant, no cloying sweetness or artificial fruit flavor. A great pick out of the numerous American brewed fruit beers."
Cupcake merlot is warm, soft, round, medium-light bodied, and tastes like you expect a California merlot to taste, with just a slight emphasis on the juicier, sweeter side of things.
It hits you with flavors of dark berries and lays some mild tannins on your tongue. Some California merlots will choke you with too much oaky flavor. Cupcake does not. Everything about this wine is moderate, medium, and pleasant.
A clear, but dark black cherry red. The nose is cherry, oaky vanilla, blackberry and a little alcohol. Soft rounded fruit flavors, raspberry, black cherry, blueberry, a touch of vanilla and a slight bite from the tannins in the back of your mouth. A little soft and cuddly for a California Cab, but it drinks well. The finish is black cherry and lasts a commendably long time.
exhibits appealing aromas of black cherry, ripe currant and lightly roasted coffee. Supple tannins and balanced acidity support core flavors of black cherry and blackberry intertwined with sweet herbs and accents of black pepper spice.
Noble Vines 337 Cabernet Sauvignon can be enjoyed on its own or with grilled tri tip, BBQ and blue cheeses.
Full bodied, medium sweet Maderia with a smooth nutty character
Taste:
currant, black cherry, plum, bell pepper, olive, oak, smoke, toast, and tar
Nose: At first whiff the wine displays vibrant notes of cherries, sassafras and spice.
Flavors: The cherry flavors are the first impression spread across the palate by the wine’s acidity. As the wine lingers notes of oak and savory herb serve to enhance the fruit character.
Roasted nut and minerally citrus are at the fore of this hearty and complex style of Chardonnay from the Russian River. Lovely, full bodied, and delicious with or without food.
Blasphemy is our award winning QUAD aged in bourbon barrels. But not overaged, so we've picked up gentle vanilla oaky notes which complement rather than supercede the complex qualities that already make QUAD such an incredible beer.
Amber bodied brew with a thin, foamy, off-white head.
A big bouquet of traditional fall spices. Cardamon, nutmeg, allspice and a touch of cinnamon. Some dry grains and a hint of warm alcohol.
Tons of traditional pumpkin pie flavors. Sweet nutmeg, allspice and a little cinnamon. Very faint brown sugar sweetness and a malty component balance the spices. Dry, bitter grains and warming alcohol detected at the end. Very well balanced.
Medium bodied, pleasant carbonation. Clean and silky with a very well hidden 9.0 ABV. A semi-dry, slightly warming finish.
This may be my favorite pumpkin ale. I will soon be traveling to the nearby River Horse Brewery to enjoy this on tap.
The Dominus 2009 exemplifies the finest qualities of Cabernet Sauvignon from an ideal vintage. The nose, at once powerful yet restrained, is dense and filled with pure dark berry fruit and hints of sandalwood. On the palate is a harmonious blend of fresh plum and focused minerality with tannins that are firm, round and elegant. Spherical in quality, this wine is complete from start to finish. A sublime vintage.
Red Handed Merlot is a fruit-forward wine with aromas and flavors of ripe red berries and cassis. This bright fruit character is layered with notes of toasted almonds and black olives. Lingering fruit flavors are complemented by soft tannins and nice structure on the finish.
Red Handed Cabernet has aromas of blackcurrant, dark plum, wild berry and dried herbs are found on the nose of our Eye Candy Cabernet Sauvignon. This range from fruity to savory characters extends to the palate, which is filled with flavors of crushed berry, cassis, and plum. A lovely soft mouthfeel and a lingering finish complete this well-balanced and full-bodied wine.
The nose is intriguing:plum and cassis play with nuances of cedar and spice. Then, a mouthful of rich berry and dark fruit flavors, followed by a lovely and lingering fruitful finish. Notable but well-balanced tannic structure and a pleasing acidity will dance well with a wide range of flavorful meats and savory dishes.
Bonaventure Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in a mix of French and American oak barrels. On the nose there are notes of cassis, plum, and crushed berries (raspberry and blackberry). Also a slight hint of vanilla/oak spice. The palate offers rich red fruits of potent plum, blackberries and spice that carry from entry through mid-palate. Dusty tannins and lingering cassis flavors on the finish.
LION'S RIDGECAB/SAUV
Aromas of fresh strawberries, raspberries and cherries. A fresh creaminess with a hint of rosemary. A touch of vanilla. On the palate, the fruit flavors are a little more subtle. Dried strawberries and cranberries with some sweet cherry. A touch of smokiness. Solid acidity and long finish.
This 2010 expresses the lush buttery flavor of full-bodied Russian River Chard. The nose gives hints of apple around the pear and light citrus, with a touch of vanilla. On the palate, pear, apple, citrus and butter, with a long well-balanced finish.
