Black cherry fruit punctuates the intial impression of our Anderson Valley Estate Pinot Noir. This Brutocao Pinot Noir is full and rich with varietal velvet, fresh earth and brooding integrated smoky oak, it remains lively and charged with a youthful buoyancy that portends extended palate pleasing performance.
Cupcake merlot is warm, soft, round, medium-light bodied, and tastes like you expect a California merlot to taste, with just a slight emphasis on the juicier, sweeter side of things.
It hits you with flavors of dark berries and lays some mild tannins on your tongue. Some California merlots will choke you with too much oaky flavor. Cupcake does not. Everything about this wine is moderate, medium, and pleasant.
A clear, but dark black cherry red. The nose is cherry, oaky vanilla, blackberry and a little alcohol. Soft rounded fruit flavors, raspberry, black cherry, blueberry, a touch of vanilla and a slight bite from the tannins in the back of your mouth. A little soft and cuddly for a California Cab, but it drinks well. The finish is black cherry and lasts a commendably long time.

Roasted nut and minerally citrus are at the fore of this hearty and complex style of Chardonnay from the Russian River. Lovely, full bodied, and delicious with or without food.
The Dominus 2009 exemplifies the finest qualities of Cabernet Sauvignon from an ideal vintage. The nose, at once powerful yet restrained, is dense and filled with pure dark berry fruit and hints of sandalwood. On the palate is a harmonious blend of fresh plum and focused minerality with tannins that are firm, round and elegant. Spherical in quality, this wine is complete from start to finish. A sublime vintage.

The nose is intriguing:plum and cassis play with nuances of cedar and spice. Then, a mouthful of rich berry and dark fruit flavors, followed by a lovely and lingering fruitful finish. Bonaventure Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is aged in a mix of French and American oak barrels. On the nose there are notes of cassis, plum, and crushed berries (raspberry and blackberry). Also a slight hint of vanilla/oak spice. The palate offers rich red fruits of potent plum, blackberries and spice that carry from entry through mid-palate. The nose on the Pinot Grigio is intoxicating, with the promise of nectarines, ripe apples and floral notes. Most Pinot Grigio is bland in my opinion, but this one is bursting with fruit flavors and very juicy. It's delicious and will pair well with Summer salads, seafood dishes and light cheeses.
This is a classic example of the balance and richness that Santa Barbara Pinot Noir can achieve. Sourced from 3 historic and acclaimed cool climate vineyards that benefit from a long growing season and cooling maritime influence- Bien Nacido Vineyard, Kickon Ranch, and Cottonwood Canyon Vineyard are all examples of meticulous farming and that great wine begins in the vineyard. A complex bouquet of black cherry, fraise des bois, violets, rhubarb, and white pepper spice soar from the glass. Full-bodied, deep and rich this pinot has a satin texture on the palate with flavors of fresh herbs (sage, thyme) and spiced berry cobbler fruit that bring you to the long and seductive finish. Nestled on the western ridge of the Mayacamas Mountains, the Mt. Brave Vineyard succeeds in its struggle to produce fruit of great distinction, as found in this Cabernet Sauvignon, brimming with the violets, minerality, and blueberry aromas one expects from Mt. Veeder. Expressive blue fruit flavors are joined by wet shale and mountain tannins massaged to a mouth-filling crescendo.
Much like that slab of venison on the table calling for a sharper knife. Cabernet Sauvignon has long been favored as the drink of choice with a juicy steak. We say it's the drink of choice with any meal that's met its demise as a worthy adversary.
